What is the hardware requirement?

Different set of hardware is required for dry cleaning and clothing alterations stores.

Dry Cleaning Stores:

  1. Receipt printer (Thermal Printer)
    To print receipt for customers and the store. Fine out more about the receipts.
    Recommended printers: We support Epson and Start USB thermal printers. However, Epson is preferred over Star Micronics.
    Fully tested models:

    • Epson: TMT-20, TMT-88V
    • Star: TSP100
  2. Washable tag printer (Impact Printer)
    To print tags on “Wet strength paper rolls”. These tags stapled to the garment. Find out more about tags/tickets.
    Recommended printers: We support USB Samsung Bixolon impact printers.
    Fully tested models: SRP 270, SRP 275 and SRP 275 II
  3. Cash drawer (optional – recommended to have as it automatically opens when necessary. It is also password protected for more security)
    Supported models: All cash-drawers with RJ11, RJ12,RJ45 interface as well as all models from PosiFlex USB cash drawers.
  4. Bar-code scanner (Optional – Recommended to have as the order number grows over 9999 it is not as easy to type)
    Supported models: All bar-code scanners are supported

Computer
geelus is capable of running on both Mac and Windows. However, only the windows version is able to communicate with the devices like printer and cash drawer.

Mobile Device
geelus mobile report can run on any Internet device like iPhone, iPad and Android devices. This report helps you to check the orders in any period of time. It will also show you the total income (cash/check/card) and total orders for the period. Say you are on a trip or even on the way to your work and want to know how much orders have been taken so far.

You simply pull out your phone and check the orders.

Do you sell the devices like printers and cash drawers?

No we don’t. However because of the popularity of these devices, you can easily purchase them from Amazon or eBay.

Is there any lock in contract?

No there is not. Any time you feel like cancelling your subscription, you export all your data including order and customer information into CSV (comma separated format) and cancel your subscription in PayPal. We will be notified and your access to the system will be denied from the end of current subscription period.

Your data will be kept for one month after you cancel your subscription and you can re-commence your account within this time.

Does your system work when the Internet is disconnected?

All your data is stored in our cloud computers and therefore you can access your data any time and anywhere plus you never need to back up your data and worry about the data loss or virus. So you cannot access the system when there is not Internet connection because it all depends on Internet. However, the solution is to simply have a, Internet stick just in case.

As the volume of the data transferred between your computer and the Internet is fairly small, you can also use your mobile phone’s Internet connection in case you have any Internet failure.

How do you support your customers?

All the people join geelus will be allocated to a “Client Relations Manager” who will take care of their account.

There is a button inside the software for support. Pushing the button will open a text box allowing you to send a message directly to your client manager.

You will receive a direct call or email within maximum of six ours from the time you send your message.

Is there any extra cost for support?

All our support is absolutely free of charge.
