Following is necessary for the cash drawer to work with Geelus:
- Windows operating system.
- Geelus must be installed instead of running in the browser. For instruction on how to install, click here.
- Make sure the active user has “Can open cash drawer” option enabled. To enable the option navigate to “User Account Manager” using the button on the top. Then check the “Can open cash drawer” checkbox on the bottom.
- Connect the cash drawer’s RJ cable to the back of your “Receipt Printer”.
If Geelus is configured to work with the receipt printer, the cash drawer should start working immediately after connection.
