Welcome to the April, 2025 release of features. We hope you like the latest updates in this version, the highlights are as follows:
New Features:
Add Image to Variants
With this new feature, you can now assign a unique image to each variant of a main item. This allows for a more visually appealing and customizable product display.
Follow these steps to add an image to variants:
- Navigate to Settings -> Items
- Locate the item
- Select the “Variants” tab
- Click the pen icon next to the variant you are editing.
- Enable the “Override parent item settings”
- Then, click on the main item’s image and select a new image for the variant.
Set Different Number of Pieces Per Variant
Geelus now gives you the ability to set a different number of pieces per variant, making it easier to manage inventory for items that come in different configurations. For example, you can have a 2-piece suit and a 3-piece suit as variants under the same main item, and print a different number of tags for each. This adds flexibility and improves the efficiency of your product tracking and tag printing.
Follow these steps to set different number of pieces on variant:
- Navigate to Settings -> Items
- Locate the item
- Select the “Variants” tab
- Click the pen icon next to the variant you are editing.
- Enable the “Override parent item settings”
- Then, set the piece count for the variant and save.
Add Image to Add-ons
You can now add an image to each add-on, making it a lot easier for you to visualize the additional services. This feature improves the customer experience by providing a clearer view of the add-ons available.
Just like a normal item, you can assign an image to an add-on by following these steps:
- Go to Settings → Items
- Select the add-on
- Then, click on the small camera icon on the right side of the add-on settings to upload or assign an image.
Multi-Selection Support for Add-ons
Geelus has introduced multi-selection support for add-ons, allowing you to add multiple add-ons and set quantities on a single page. This eliminates the need to open the add-ons window multiple times, streamlining the process for both customers and staff.
Ability to Re-Order Add-ons
A new feature in the register settings now allows you to reorder add-ons. This provides more flexibility in how add-ons are presented during the transaction process. You can prioritize certain add-ons and control the order in which they appear, ensuring a smoother and more tailored process.
To re-order add-ons:
- Go to Settings -> Register -> Feature Control
- Choose “Select add-ons” and add the add ons on desired order.
Variant & Add-on Search Feature
This feature allows you to quickly search for item variants and add-ons while creating a transaction. This functionality streamlines the transaction process by enabling staff to efficiently find and select the desired variant or add-on easily.
Employee Working Date Added to Roster Exports and Emails
With this new update, employee working dates are now included in roster exports and emails. This feature enhances the clarity of employee schedules, making it easier to track when each employee is scheduled to work.
