Custom Text Messaging for Customers

We’re thrilled to introduce a new feature that allows you to send custom text messages directly to your customers. Whether it’s a personalized promotion, appointment reminder, or a quick update, you can now type and send tailored messages effortlessly, strengthening your connection with your audience.

To use the custom text message feature, you’ll first need to set the Sender ID. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Text Message Templates.
  2. Click on the Order Ready SMS template and copy the Sender ID.
  3. Go to Settings → Stores.
  4. Paste the copied Sender ID into the Custom Text Messaging Settings field.
  5. Click Save.

How to Send a Custom Text Message:

  1. Go to Transaction History.
  2. Locate the order for the customer.
  3. Click on the Text Message icon.
  4. Select Send Custom Text Message.
  5. Enter your custom text and click Send message

Role-Based Permissions for Custom Text Messaging

We’ve introduced a new role setting under Settings -> Roles to enable or disable custom text messaging. By checking the box for “Can send custom text messages” option, you can control which team members have access to this feature, ensuring it’s used efficiently and responsibly.

Flexible Scheduling Permissions Across Stores

A new role setting under Settings -> Roles -> “Can schedule working hours / roster for users of all stores” allows you to activate or deactivate scheduling capabilities for users across all store locations. If unchecked, scheduling is limited to users associated with the current store, giving you granular control over workforce management.

Multi-Store Filtering for Employee Schedules

We’ve enhanced the “Tools -> Employee working hours / schedule (Roster)” section with support for filtering by store. This multi-store filtering option makes it easier to manage schedules across different locations, streamlining operations for businesses with multiple branches.

Filtering Options for Employee Schedules

In addition to multi-store filtering, you can now filter employee schedules by Name, Email, Job Title and Scheduled only under Tools → Employee Working Hours / Schedule (Roster). This enhancement makes it faster and easier to organize schedules and view exactly what you need, improving efficiency in workforce planning.

Editable Time Sheets for Stores

You can now update store details directly within the timesheet edit, making it simpler to adjust employee hours with greater flexibility and accuracy. Head to Reports → Employees → Timesheets to keep your records organized and always up to date.

Filterin in Role Settings

We are excited to introduce a new feature in the Role Settings that allows you to filter the features list, making it easier to manage and customize user roles. With this update, you can quickly search and narrow down specific features, streamlining the process of assigning or modifying permissions. This enhancement improves efficiency and user experience, ensuring you can focus on configuring roles with precision and ease.

Enhanced Address Search with Unit/Flat Number

We’ve upgraded our address search functionality to include unit & flat numbers in the results. This small but impactful improvement ensures more precise address information, making it easier for you to manage locations and deliveries with confidence.

Streamlined Scheduling for All Employees Across Stores

Scheduling just became more powerful! You can now schedule working hours for all employees across all stores directly from the “Tools -> Employee working hours / schedule (Roster)” section. This improvement simplifies the process of coordinating schedules for multi-store operations, saving you time and effort.

Support for Exporting Files on iOS and Android Apps

We’re excited to announce that our iOS and Android apps now support file exporting, making it easier than ever to take your data on the go! Whether you’re working on reports, or backing up your work, you can now seamlessly export files directly from your mobile device.

Export to Excel Updated to Actual XLSX Files

Our Excel export functionality has received a major upgrade! Instead of generating web-based XLSX files, we’ve enhanced the system to produce true XLSX files, ensuring full compatibility with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software.
