Layout Grouping

The latest update in Geelus introduces the ability to group items in your layouts. Now, you can categorize items within your layouts into groups for a more organized and streamlined setup. This feature simplifies managing layouts, as you can select multiple items under “Settings -> Layouts” to create a group. It’s a great way to improve the workflow and maintain a more efficient layout system for your store.

Auto-opening add-ons window

The add-ons window will now open immediately after you add an item to a transaction. This helps you offer extras or upgrades right away, without having to click anything else. To enable this feature:

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Items
  2. Select the item you want to edit
  3. Make sure “Allow adding add-ons” is checked
  4. Under the popup setting, select “Open Add-ons popup”
  5. Click Save to apply your changes

New Role Settings

We’ve added two new settings that let you choose who can mark items as collected. Whether it’s just one item or the whole order, you can now assign this permission to specific roles. This gives you better control over who updates order status and helps avoid confusion if multiple people are working on the same ticket.

These settings can be enabled/disabled through Settings -> Roles -> Features, check/uncheck the boxes for:

  • Can mark individual items collected
  • Can mark all collected

Multi-remove Tool for Layout Items

You can now remove multiple items from your layout at once. Instead of deleting items one by one, you can select several and remove them in a single step. It’s especially helpful when you’re updating your layout or clearing out old items, saving you time and clicks.

Additional Keyboard Sizes for Self-Serve Kiosk

We’ve added new keyboard size options for the Self-Serve Kiosk. Whether you’re using a small or large screen, you can now pick a keyboard layout that fits better. This makes the kiosk easier for customers to use and gives you more flexibility when setting it up.

Customer Insert Date on Transaction Export

Transaction exports now include the customer insert date—that’s the date the customer was first added to the system. This gives you more useful info in your reports and helps when tracking customer history, running analytics, or syncing data across platforms.

Role Settings to Prevent Deleting Marked “Done” Items

There’s are new role settings that blocks users from deleting items that have already been marked as “done.” It’s a safety measure to keep completed work from being removed by accident. This helps protect your records and ensures everything stays accurate.

These settings can be enabled/disabled through Settings -> Roles -> Features, check/uncheck the boxes for:

  • Can delete self process (done) entry
  • Can delete other’s process (done) entry

Display total bundle price in layouts

When “Show price” is turned on in your layout settings, you’ll now see the total price for bundle items. This makes it easier to see the full cost of a group of services at a glance. It’s a simple change that makes pricing clearer for business.
